Are there any good native MPOGs for OSX. I enjoy Eve, but it seems pretty unstable ( most likely due to wine wrapper ). Any suggestions? [thott]

My 3yo is a big fan of club penguin and already playing it alone. I thought I was early when I started computing at 8. Seems times change. [thott]

MPOG: I was addicted to World of Warcraft, which runs beautifully on Mac.

I tried Eve back in the day. The UI was horrible back then, and the game involved way to much micro-management, and not enough guiding for a new player. The space visuals where very cool. Has it changed?

I’d be interested to hear what you find.

Somehow I don’t like the game style of WOW so much. Eve is looking good and I generally like it, but somehow is to unstable for real usage. What’s also looking good is Dofus 2.0, but again not really my game. Was searching for something in style of Age of Empires as Multiplayer game but could not find something. Maybe will try Starcraft II

eve> still a lot of micromanagement?

If you don’t like WoW, I wonder how you would like Dofus 2.0.

Is Starcraft II out? — will it ever be out ;-)

A lot of people still play the original Starcraft…

what’s stopping you from using bootcamp?

        • Thorsten says:

Didn’t say I like it. It’s looking good, I’m not a friend of 3D games. Was also thinking to give starcraft II a try, afaik it’s out. I was playing SC I back in the days. Re: bootcamp – I hate rebooting. Will most likely just start using my old Notebook with Windows 7 for entertainment purposes as it’s finally back from repairs.
